First Fruits
“It’s not a word that you hear a lot in the Christian community. I am not trying to tell you that we fall under the Law, and that this is a law and mandate—I’m not trying to tell you that. I’m just going to give you some teachings about first fruits, and I think the heart of it still is God’s heart.”
Ways of the Enemy
Pastor JoAnn discusses the ways Satan attacks Christians and what we are to do to keep him at bay.
Dreams and Visions
“In the society we live in, we have almost been trained to believe that the supernatural doesn’t really exist. How we let the Enemy sell us that lie, I am not sure, but he has been really effective at that. Even studying the Word, it’s real easy sometimes to just see things and just read right over them, not give them another thought; just kinda that thought process comes across, ‘Well, it used to be that way.’ But you know, the Word specifically tells us that God doesn‘t change. You know, people talk about, ‘I had a dream, and I really felt God was telling me something,’ and, y’know, our thinking is quick to say, ‘Yeah, you must have had some spicy pizza for dinner last night.’ We fluff it off, and we just ignore it. Why is that, when the Word is so full of it?”
The Birth of the King and Your Role in the Kingdom
“There will be no end to the increase of the government of peace. [Jesus] was crucified, raised from the dead, gone on to heaven; but His kingdom is still increasing. And how is it increasing? Because you and I are in it. And He’s given us a job to do: it’s our job to establish that kingdom here on Earth.”
Pastor JoAnn begins in Isaiah 9:6 and continues on to share with the audience what the role of a Christian is in the kingdom of God.
Easier, But Different (The Gifts of the Spirit)
